S.C.I.V - Star Citizen Inventory

Welcome to S.C.I.V. ("Star Citizen Inventory", "the Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account and using the Service you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not register or use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

S.C.I.V. is a fan-made inventory management tool for the video game Star Citizen. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cloud Imperium Rights LLC, Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or any of their affiliates. All Star Citizen-related names, trademarks, ship names, item names and imagery remain the property of their respective owners and are used here purely for personal, non-commercial cataloguing purposes.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction) to register. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity occurring under your account. One account per person.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

upload illegal, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attack the Service;
use the Service to spam, phish, or harass other users;
scrape, automate, or resell access without prior written permission.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the inventory data you enter. By submitting an item to the public Catalog (template proposal), you grant other users a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to view and copy that template into their own private inventory. Submissions may be moderated or removed at our discretion.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from data loss. Keep your own backups (use the CSV export!) of anything important.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your private inventory is deleted; catalog templates you contributed may remain anonymised in the public Catalog.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the login screen and require renewed acceptance before continuing to use the Service.
